Try not to worry too much. Lily's record is 9 days! It is not great, but apparently it is not uncommon, especially in breastfed babies (not sure if that includes Ruby). We were advised to put a tablespoon of dark corn syrup in a 4 oz. bottle of expressed milk. Sometimes it took a few such bottles, but it usually helped. Good luck!
